Recently, a call went out to the pupils and parents of The Academy School for unwanted children’s books for the Children's Book Project. The response was overwhelming and over 1000 books were donated - all being in very good condition. The charity organisers have asked us to thank all donors for their amazing generosity. Please see below an extract from the charity concerned. And a special thanks to Lucy (Jimmy’s Mother) for delivering the books on our behalf.
